When 40-year-old Virgin came out, I had no intention of seeing it. Steve Carrell's character in The Office is just so annoying--or maybe it's that whole Curb Your Enthusiasm / Gary Shandling Show style of "humor" that I just don't get. Either way, I was convinced to see it and found Carrell's character to be endearing. I get a sense that he'll make a career (outside of The Office) of playing lovable schlubs in the same way as Hugh Grant and Adam Sandler have.
But I'll still wait for Dan In Real Life to come out on DVD. People just don't know how to act in a theater any more.

I never watch TV, much too busy, I guess, so I wasn't jaded by that show The Office...
You & Turtle could come out here and go to the movies with us. We go usually on a week night and skip the teenage mutant brat stuff.
