How Was Your Day?

ThatManILove finally came home from the rig last night for the first time in two weeks. Today, we went to eat breakfast, then to Starbucks, the mailbox, the movie and by Mom’s to give her the Valentine’s present. And voila, it was time to take Zack the Wonder Dog for his run.

Then, we ordered Outback takeaway crab legs and steak, and now we’re vegging out on the couch , under a furry blanket, watching Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn in “The Breakup”. Yummy, quiet Valentine’s Day. There’s nothing better!

What did you do for Valentine’s Day? Tell all, because inquiring minds want to know!

I took a lot of naps, ate a lot of chocolate and got caught up on blog posts while prepping my other posts for the week! Loved it! :)

Sounds like a really great day for you!

We had a beautiful day. Prince bought me a lovely gift, we spend the day buying paint for our new lovenest and then last night we went to an 80's Dance Party at our local pub. We got our 80's groove on to Madonna, Michael Jackson and The Jay Giles Band. Freeze-frame girl!!
Thanks for asking and for listening.

My man made filet mignon on the grill, and he's a master griller. My girls made all the sides and I just sat down and ate. Then they did all the dishes. How's that for Valentines Day?

Unfortunately there was no snuggling here at our house since Hubby is still suffering with a heavy heavy cold. BUT, we did spoil one another with flowers and cards. We have much love every day of the year, so it was not a big deal to not celebrate in a bigger way this year.

I helped a friend's family move while he is indisposed. Then I grilled ribs and cleaned house with the cd player on full blast. I had myself a Bruce Springsteen festival, just to prep for his concert in Austin! Counting the days eagerly until April 5th.

We went to watch the worlds toughest sports aka the PBR at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. The man that I love knows what this girl likes and it's definitely not flowers or candy. Oh....and if you watch any reruns of the PBR from Saturday night, you'll see us....more than once. :)

Your V-day sounds perfect too.

Did a load of wedding stuff and sent mushy text messages to each other. Went out for a gorgeous Thai dinner and then had a movie date followed by coffee. Cried my eyes out watching Marley and Me, but had a gorgeous man handing me a clean hankerchief.

Classic Line from that movie

I cooked wood smoked ribeyes, mushroom rum cream sauce, asparagus, baked potato and home-made milk shakes.

We had a quiet night in, too. My husband cooked lobster for me and we enjoyed a fire in the fireplace watching movies all night.

(This was after a trip to the Magical HEB in Midland!)
