Gourmet Dinner - a la Super Suppers in Midland!

Do you have a SuperSuppers in your town? If not, open a franchise. They are AMAZING. We have one in Midland, and due to mi vida loca schedule, I frequent them…frequently! And I'm never disappointed.

Today, ThatManILove and I are going to see the movie “New In Town”. When we return to our humble abode, awaiting us in the oven will be Cranberry Pork Tenderloin. It will be accompanied by Baby Baked Potatoes, a fresh Garden Salad, and (oh, Lord, help me!) a Chocolate Cobbler. All compliments of our local Super Suppers.

I’ll let you know how everything is…I promise. Right after I awaken from my carb and sugar induced coma. Yummmmmmm.

We had a Super Supper in a town about 30 miles away but sadly it closed so now I have to rely on my own not-so-super suppers. Ugh.....why can't I live in the land of many Super Suppers???

I LOVE those places! I just wish I had money to do it!

When they first started here you had to go there & MAKE THEM yourself? Pfffft! I can do that here at home. Every time I make King Ranch Chicken, Chicken Spaghetti, Lasagne, and Shepherd's Pie, I have extra, so I put in separate casseroles & freeze.

I do the same thing when I make chili, chicken soup, and potato soup. It's great to have something ready to throw in the oven or the microwave when you've had a hard day on the golf course or whatever, lol.

Girl, you need to come over here & take lessons. I'm the Queen of cooking once for several meals... Or, if you're reeeeeeaally good, I might just do it for ya.

However, now that I know I can drop in and pick up a few premade goodies, I might just utilize that. Thanks so much for the update!

Ah, there seems to be a Super Supper about 15 miles form me. We have a store called Wegman's that you can buy ready made dinners you just need to heat and eat. John and I have gotten that before.

Janie, as you know, we have all lost a number of friends and family in the Tall City the last couple of months. We have received - and given - several meals from Super Suppers during this time. For those of us with the desire (but NOT the schedule) to "bring over a casserole," Super Suppers has been a blessing.

SUPER SUPPERS? DAMN! I would gladly turn in my SUPER SUPPER CHEF hat if I could have one of those places near me! Never heard of it! And a chocolate cobbler? Yeah, I might be tempted to take TWO shots of insulin just so I could shove my face in that.
