A New Day...

Eric tried to warn me…if I was going to start a blog, I would need to commit to posting regularly. Yesterday, the first day of the first month, should have been an easy post day. Lots of reflection back, lots of looking forward. And a lot happened yesterday. Not really any resolutions, per se, but definitely renewal and restoration.

Maybe soon I'll be able to capture it in writing.

Sometimes writing pours out with no effort at all. Sometimes I go for a month or two with nothing more to post than mindless drivel and blatant plagerism.

Oh well.

Happy New Year!

I know what you mean. I wasn't able to get it together and post yesterday, either. Wierd.

Your one day off was nothing compared to the many days I took off hehe.

Actually, I am learning that if your blogging becomes too much of a task, it will be difficult to maintain. As with spookyrach, sometimes I simply post mindless stuff...creativity doesn't come with the snap of your finger. Just do as you feel and you will enjoy it more. I need to remind myself of this as well; at those times when I feel pressured about blogging.

Eric, Karen - Yes, I know. I'm trying to write personally every day, not necessarily blog-wise, but just write.

Spooky - that's funny, "mindless drivel and blantant plagiarism".

Rach - hope you enjoyed your time off!

Trace - I did have some really funny stuff happen in the last couple of days, but it was more like "you had to be there" stuff that doesn't translate well into writing.

Any pressure I'm under is most definitely self-imposed!;)

For me, blogging is a stress release, not a stress inducer. If I actually had anything edifying to say, I might feel more pressure to say it. For this reason, I have found that I like to wait until the Spirit moves me to write something (and right now, the Spirit is probably denying any involvement). ;-)
