Meeting with a customer. Meeting today to get ready to meet with customer, to make sure all our ducks are in a row prior to the meeting. And then, I have to leave one meeting to go to yet another meeting. Meetings, meetings, meetings. I get tired of meetings! I can’t get my job done for going to meetings to figure out how to effectively do my job.
And I even use a Franklin planner! And Plan Plus! I am a modernized woman who utilizes tools, organizes well, and administrates!
At some time in the very near future, my tasks (which, by the way, automatically forward to the next day’s planner page if they are left undone*) are going to mutiny and say, “Enough! Enough! We want to be completed! We are sick and tired of being left undone!”
At which point, I will say…
“Fine. Schedule a meeting on Outlook Meeting Planner and I’ll see what I can do.”
*Really! I learned how to do that in a meeting!

My husband has the same complaint daily. I think my favorite story lately was the meeting to decide that they had already decided (in previous meetings) on some decisions that needed to be made.
Add that to my list of reasons why I don't miss the corporate world ;-)
My planner is a yellow pad of paper that I carry everywhere I go and stacks of paper around my office. The things that are undone stay there until they get done. I'm resistant to change. ;-)
I would have replied earlier, but I. was. in. meetings...blech.
Jennifer - tell your hubby that my heart goes out to him.
Badoozie - they're really neat, but even neater if you get the planning program on your 'puter!
Gwynne - Your desk did not reflect such.
