The Men In My Life Make Me Crazy, or My Life Would Have No Purpose Without Them

Well, El Bloggerio is finally up and running again, and can be accessed from my Mac. Thank God! I thought I was going to have to post thru Parallels the rest of my life.

It’s raining here, something it never does. And I like it...well, until the dogs have to come in and their honking feet are covered with mud. They are so smart - do you think I could teach them to wipe their feet on the outside rug, and then again on the inside rug, just to make sure?

All my guys are in different places tonight. Younger Son went back to Levelland to college yesterday from Lake LBJ. He gets the "I was Zero trouble to Janie this week" Award.

Elder Son finally caught his flight tonight (yes, the same one he was supposed to catchy yesterday evening) after playing and singing for another wedding in Seguin on Saturday...and then, I guess, partying so hard he missed his flight. How do I know he missed his flight? He called me and wanted to know how to fix it so he could get home. I said, "Just call Southwest and see if they'll reissue it." He said, "What do I tell them? Should I just shoot the sh*t with them and see what happens?" I said, "Just call them, I don't know."

I don’t even want to know what happened. About why he was late, or what he said to Southwest.

And now, ThatManILove is stuck in the Dallas Love airport. He had a meeting in Dallas today, flew up this morning, and was already supposed to be home. But his flight was delayed. And I cannot reach him on his cell, which means (1) he’s on the plane and heading home, or (2) he forgot his phone charger.

Any bets on which one it is?

I'm voting for no charger, and now on the plane! Men, we gotta love 'em!

I bet no charger either! Glad to hear your blogger issues were solved. I had a problem in that I could not post from Goggle Chrome..I switched to the new editor in my settings..that seemed to work..but now they have no spell check..the idiots.
At least our mud is sandy, it dries and you can vacume it up..put a foot bath outside the door!:)

I'm in the no charger corner.
You should grab those muddy dogs and come to Ks to the upland event this weekend!
BTW Pepsi does wipe her feet (sort of), but Sierra, not so much......

I'm betting on the charger too. HBL always forgets his and I can't for the life of me figure out why since it's attached to his ear and he KNOWS it has to be charged to work. MEN!!!

I'll vote for no charger lol

and, yes, you can teach a GSH to wipe their feet, by the way lol. We taught our dogs to "dance" (you know, when they get excited and kinda wiggle and dance at your feet when they want to play or get petted or whatever) and then just made them do it at the door, on the rug, before they came in. Works like a charm ;)

I vote for no charger, too. :)

I'm leaning towards no charger, but with extenuating circumstances. Something like he was pulling out his charger when a band of Gypsies charged over stole it from him.

It's raining here in L.A. too and it hasn't rained all year so we can't complain.
