Zanna the Wonderpup has been acting strange lately.
I walked in our bedroom, and found her straddling Zack the Wonderdog’s head and neck. With THAT part of her body. On OUR bed. Oh, yes, I did.
I yelled for ThatManILove, and here’s how it went down.
TMIL: What, babe?
Janie: Zanna is trying to straddle Zack’s head!
TMIL: What? Hang on, I’ll be in there in a second.
He takes one look, and turns and grins at me.
TMIL: It’s okay, honey. She’s just exploring her sexuality. (What makes him think of this stuff?)
Janie: But…is she in heat?
TMIL: No.
Janie: How do you know? Can you tell? What if she is? (Spoken in speed-dial)
TMIL: Is Zack acting like she’s in heat?
Janie: (I look at Zack. He's just laying there.) Ummmm...Noooooooo.
TMIL: Point made, Girlfriend. Point made.

Oh -----Sierra does that to Pepsi all the time, since she was a little puppy. Dog whisperer says she is trying to be the dominate dog. But also, she can take away Pepsi's rawhide and when Pepsi goes after her, she gets thrown to the side out of reach!
It is a pretty weird sight though!
I do that same exact thing!!! And since I had a hyst, I must be exploring my sexuality, too. hee hee
I had some friends who had their male and female dogs neutered and spayed, but they (the dogs, that is) still did it sometimes.
I could take this in a lot of directions, but I think I'm going to leave it right there.
Maybe she just missing the hunting . . .

Makes me think of a photo of that sort on lolcats, where the dog is looking at the camera whilst...er... mounting some other poor doggie lying on the bed, and the quote says, "I'm in your bed, sexin' up your friend.." and God I howled :)))
