A Day At The Park

We're back from N'awlins. We had a good time, overall. I'll tell you more later, but in the meantime, here's pix of the Wonderdogs, having fun at our local Hogan's Run Dog Park.
Zack and Zanna, trying to cool off a little after hard play and lots of running! Zanna the Wonderpup, trying to decide what kind of stuff she can stir up next.
Like this - our funny friend, Buddy, digging, and Zanna knowing - just knowing!- that she's not allowed to dig. So, she's enjoying it vicariously. And if we don't watch her, she Will.Be.In.There. Right alongside her friend.
While Buddy shows no conviction whatsoever, and is going after that varmint that has to be in that hole!

And here they are, exhausted, but looking back towards the dog park as if saying, "Do we really have to leave, Mom? Do we?" Check out those smiles.

Some days I wish there was a people's equivalent of a dog park. Not the sniffing others' privates or rolling in poop parts but.... well no, I guess I'd rather just have a margarita and a recliner. THAT's my dog park.

So glad you're home and I love the pics of the wonder dogs. Did you try to call me Saturday? If not, someone was using your phone! Ha!

Happy dogs are tired dogs which makes happy people who take care of the dogs( well, that is how it works at my house;-).

The last time we took ours to the dog park, Abby found an open culvert filled with brackish, mossy water and jumped in. Emmy, who loathes water, stood back and watched in the doggy equivalent of horror. And then, when it was time to load that stanky thing back into Old Dog's pickup truck, the real whining started....

I'm still thinking of you, I have my Bath and Body works card, I've been saving it and saving it. And there are new scents out and I can't wait to go shopping and get some!!!!
